We've shipped a batch of updates to DocuCodes Flows that we're excited to share: Markdown support, stop reordering, and a refreshed visual design.
Markdown in Flow and Stop Descriptions
![]()
Flow and Stop descriptions now support full Markdown. That means you can use headings, bold, italics, lists, code blocks, links, and more to make your walkthroughs clearer and more expressive.
![]()
Until now, descriptions were plain text. That worked fine for a quick note, but it fell short when you needed to explain something nuanced, like calling out a specific variable in a code block or linking to an external resource. Markdown removes that ceiling and lets you write descriptions that are as rich as the code they sit beside.
Reorder Stops
![]()
You can now reorder stops by clicking the "Reorder Stops" button while editing a Flow. Simply drag and drop Stops to rearrange them after they've been created. Previously, Stops were locked into the order you added them, which meant you had to plan your entire Flow up front or recreate Stops to change the sequence. Now you can build first and organize later. Insert a Stop in the middle of an existing Flow, move a Stop to the beginning for better context, or shuffle things around until the narrative feels right. Your Flow, your order.
A Fresh Look

We've also spruced up the visual design of Flows and the DocuCodes app as a whole. Navigation is now contained in a collapsible sidebar, we've cleaned up layouts, and improved typography. The updates may seem subtle but are focused on making it easier for you to focus on what matters: the code and the context around it.
These design changes also lay the groundwork for some exciting things we have in the works. Stay tuned.
